JP Fanagan League Div.1, Sunday March 6th: Coolmine Under-20s suffered their first defeat in the JP Fanagan Division 1 league against league leaders Naas. The Kildare side ran out deserved winners following a fast start, which saw the home team race into a 10-0 lead.

From there, Coolmine were always chasing the game and never quite managed to fire. Naas held a 17-3 lead at half time; in the second half Coolmine took the game to them, but their attempts were met by a resolute Naas defence.

Coolmine U20s are now looking ahead to secure a place in the round robin play-offs, with plenty of games left to play.
