As President, I would like to welcome all members, friends and visitors to our club.

I am honored to be elected the 17th President of Coolmine Rugby Football Club for the 2009/10 season, a season in which our 1st & 2nd teams will participate in the newly formed Division 1 of the Leinster Junior League. I wish Oliver Prunty, our Club Captain, and all our senior squads (1sts, 2nds, 3rds, under 20’s and not forgetting the Wildebeests) all the best for 2009/10 and I have no doubt that we will have success with Willie Anderson joining as head coach and Edward Melvin as Director of Rugby. Our youth and mini section are once again being led by Kevin McNally (Youth Coordinator) and John Gethin (Mini Coordinator). We have an excellent team of coaches for each age grade and I look forward to seeing these teams in action during the season. This is the groundwork for the future of our club. To all our coaches and players, I wish you every success for the coming season. To our clubs main sponsor, Michael Fetherston of The Fetherston Group, we say special thanks. Your continuing support is vital to the successful operation of our club.
