1980-2010: 30 years and growing

Coolmine RFC, founded in 1980, continues to be one of the fastest growing clubs in the greater metropolitan area. The club runs four senior teams, one U-21 team and several mini rugby and junior teams from under-7 to under-18 level.

Our first XV competes in Leinster League Division 1A. Directions to Coolmine RFC.

Pat Sheehan is Club President. Ex-Ireland international Willie Anderson will coach the 1st XV this season.

Ollie Prunty captains the club and Kieran O'Callaghan is 1st team manager. The 2nd XV captain is Brian Smyth; the 3rd XV captain will be appointed soon. The Under 21s team is managed by Kieran Moloney, competing in the JP Fanagan Division 1 league.

Training for senior players and U-21s takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm sharp. New members and players are always welcome!
